Ready to try curling?
The sport of curling can be enjoyed by people of all ages, sizes, and abilities. Attend a 2-hour "Learn 2 Curl" session at the Chicago Curling Club, and we'll have you on the ice in no time. Our instructors will teach you about the sport, our club, and guide you through an actual game. Check an item off your bucket list, or take the first step toward your Olympic dreams!

 

Join us for a Learn to Curl Class! Participants must be at least 18 years of age. The fee is $85 per person. Each class has a maximum of 32 people. Learn2Curl ticket purchases are non-refundable.
In the class you will learn a bit of history about curling, curling in Illinois, and curling in the rest of the US. We will spend about an hour and a half on the ice learning how to throw a stone, sweep, and basic strategy. 
The Ice House is kept at a comfortable 40F. We recommend loose fitting clothing or athletic wear that you can comfortably perform a lunge in.
We try to keep the playing surface as clean as possible so please bring a clean pair of shoes to change into once you arrive. We recommend any gym/tennis shoe that allows for a good range of motion from your ankle. They must have clean soles free from any gravel, grass, etc.  

You may sign up for one event date only.

**Occasionally we need to reschedule Learn2Curl events based on registrations and volunteer availability. If this happens, we'll do our best to work with you to reschedule to a future event date that works for your availability.
